Last year, the trailblazing, better-for-you soft drink brand PURA Soda, expanded its range to include the forward-thinking, healthier and delicious PURA Kids variants in a 200ml tetra pack. 

Now, one year later, this ever-evolving brand has announced the launch of the latest edition to its product offering. PURA Kids will now be available in a convenient, eco-friendly, 1-litre pack that still features the quirky characters that grab the attention of parents and their little ones.

The product range boasts the same intrinsics as the company’s OG offering, PURA Soda – low sugar, all-natural flavours, colourant and preservative-free. The kid’s product, that keeps the little legends from bouncing off the walls, comes in four tasty flavours – pink apple, lemonade, mixed berry and peach.

“In South Africa, 80% of the volume of juices sold in 1 litre and 200ml pack options comes from the 1 litre variant, so this new addition made sense for us, as it also allows for increased drinking occasions for our consumers,” says Greig Jansen, CEO of PURA Beverage Company. “We have definitely seen a demand for the 1 litre option. Parents often purchase the smaller packs for convenience, particularly when it comes to school lunch boxes and outings, but for home consumption, the bigger pack size works best. The 1 litre can be opened, and resealed while being enjoyed throughout the week.” 

“We wanted to develop a product that appealed to both parents and kids, and after much consumer and market research we believe we have cracked it,” he says. “Our main aim is to make it easier for parents to make healthier choices for their kids.”

PURA Kids’ new size option is available in all four of your kid’s favourite flavours. Parents will be able to find this exciting new product across all major South African retailers from May, retailing for R24,99.
