Interested companies to express their interest in participating in the UNIDO ITPO Germany Delegate Programme to IFFA Trade Fair in Frankfurt. This survey serves to create a shortlist of participating companies and to structure the agenda in line with their interests and cooperation requests.
Selection criteria:
Open for companies from Africa and other emerging markets that meet the following criteria:
- Larger and medium-sized companies active in the meat processing sector, including slaughterhouses and packaging
- Companies with concrete investment and expansion plans
- Companies seeking new partnership opportunities, and innovative technologies
- Companies with focus on job-creation and resource and energy efficient production methods
UNIDO ITPO Germany encourages female-led and -owned companies to apply!
Sector focus:
The delegation trip focusses on the meat and poultry processing and packaging sector and seeks to support companies in establishing a sustainable and resource efficient production while creating jobs in the industry.
Agenda:
The programme will contain pre-arranged meetings companies and UNIDO partners at IFFA trade show, additional B2B meetings, site visits to companies and institutions active in the meat processing sector in Germany, workshops on financing, processing technology, and hygiene and regulation.
Cost coverage and support by UNIDO ITPO Germany:
UNIDO ITPO Germany will issue visa support letters, cover the costs for local transport (excluding flights), accommodation and entry tickets for the whole duration of the trade fair, coordination of meetings and site visits as well as B2B events and networking events. All other costs and logistical arrangements need to be covered by participating companies.
